Today is the birthday of one of my favorite characters from history … Norton I, Emperor of the United States. Didn’t know the US had ever had an emperor? Well, Norton thought so. There’s a fine line between eccentricity and brilliance.

Actually, Sealand is for sale, so maybe I’ll just buy myself a country (albeit, a disputed one).
