Blessing of the hedgehogs

Chopper and I took Tenzing and Dexter to the Blessing of the Animals at Grace Episcopal Church around the corner on Wentworth Street today. This event is one of my favorites every year, with a mix of canine, feline, stuffed, and other companion animals in church. There’s usually a fair bit of barking, huffing, and other noises while the service goes on, and occasionally someone has an accident, but everyone seems to have a good time. Tenzing and Dexter were both a hit, as is typical when we bring hedgehogs, and both were really glad to get home to a little peace and quiet.
